(More customer reviews)I had some VHS tapes from years ago that I wanted to convert to DVD. Seeing that the source material was VHS tape, I wasn't sure of the quality I'd get. The final DVDs turned out extremely well. Using the 1-hour highest quality setting does an excellent job.
I docked 1-star because the recording process isn't as straight forward as it could be, but as long as you follow the well-written step-by-step instructions, you'll get the hang of it quickly.
DVDs also up-convert nicely on HDTVs, especially Pixar-type animated films.
