(More customer reviews)I purchased this item to convert cassettes and records to CD's. It uses only CD-R and and CD-RW discs and they don't recommend using CD-RW. I wasted a lot of CD's since it took multiple trys to record both cassettes and LP's. In many cases they could not be recorded regardless of the number of trys. The main problem being that the recording would start, but part way through it would quit recording and just play the cassette or LP, thereby requiring you to start over with a new CD. It is not a quality product. I purchased through Bon Ton and they willingly take returns. Crosley offered to repair it for 19.95 plus shippig.
