(More customer reviews)This turntable provides a good entry point to the joys of vinyl. It has some good features such as an outboard power supply and 3 speeds (33, 45 & 78 rpm). It adds no sound of its own that I could discern. There did not appear to be any wow or flutter on well cut records that I have played. The Ortofon cartridge is satisfactory. The negatives are a center spindle that does not rotate with the platter (so record clamps won't work) and the motor is just powerful enough to rotate the vinyl, an outboard brush slows it down. It reminds me of a cross between my old AR table and a Dual 1219. It would not be good for use by a DJ for a party, but it is great for getting your records ripped into a digital format or, better yet, just listening to and enjoying the broad soundstage that only vinyl can provide.
