I bought this unit because I was very pleased with Toshiba portable DVD player. MISTAKE. I guess the player was a fluke. This DVD VCR combo is the pits. I cannot tell you all the stupid, frustrating things it put me through because once I drove an axe through it...I really did!!...I put that thing out of my mind! (It felt soooo good to smash it) All I can say is do not buy it. I know the price is right and it sounds like it has all the right connections and features but it is a sham. And it is ugly.
I bought Panasonic instead, axe is resting quietly!!
