It has a convenient Jog/Shuttle dial on the front panel that allows for high speed search and also frame-by-frame searches. In both forward and reverse. Perfect for setting up the tape to grab only the moments you want to transfer. I highly recommend this product for either the series videophile or anyone who wants to hook it up to either a computer or editing bay to transfer home movies.
