(More customer reviews)Ultra quick shipping! I didn't expect it nearly so soon. The turntable was very well packed and arrived totally safe. Turntable is very easy to use. The sound quality is very good and I was happy that it has a built-in preamp, unlike your standard consumer turntables of old (it even has a gain control on the back, which is very nice!). My only qualm is a high pitch whine that emanates from the interface, which makes it on to the recording. I can minimize this by keeping the output of the turntable high so the signal to noise ratio is better, and by going back to the resulting recording and fading in/out on the quiet areas (before and after the music on the record plays), where the whine is most noticeable.
A nice product, and I really can't complain or the convenience and ease of effort this USB turntable gives me, especially considering that I paid less for this and any turntable I had ever owned before (I'm 44 and grew up playing records). Good bank for the buck.
