(More customer reviews)I bought the iconvert to convert old family videos into DVD form. It was extremely easy to set-up and use. I thought this would be an extremely easy process and was horribly caught off guard when I kept running into problems. So after paying $99 + tax for an i converter, another $40 for a SD card, and $50 for an SD card reader (I'm a mac user) I found that this converter screwed you because it only saves in a AFS format... which means that it can only be run it the Windows Media Player ONLY. Being a Mac user, I than had to buy a video converter so that it would change the AFS format to a more practical format. Once I was able to finally see my video in iMovie, it turns out the iconvert (the one from Brookstone) couldn't properly record the sound from the VHS and there is a 6 second sound delay!!!!!!
