(More customer reviews)what a piece of junk. the phono sound is completely dead and flat, with no matter how much EQ. The line in is totally useless because its always distorted. I looked inside and saw bad solder joints and rust. I would avoid this manufacturer at all costs

Same great features and specs as our TC-740, PLUS the TC-740A adds a rear-panel attenuator switch to allow use with higher level line sources which exceed the TC-740's input capabilities, such as CD players, tape decks and MP3 players. With the addition of this feature, there's virtually no source the TC-740A can't handle... Note that this variant does not have its own box design (it comes in a TC-740 package).
